Massage modeling to lose weight?

What is the technique of this massage?

To perform this type of massage, it is necessary to use fast and strong movements in the areas of fat accumulation, such as the abdomen, arms, hips, buttocks and saddlebags, combining classic aesthetic maneuvers with a constant rhythm, a frequency of about 5 seconds for each movement, moderate intensity and pressure. The use of a gel and a wrap with active ingredients is essential to obtain results. The first session may seem unpleasant, but is usually not painful. The therapist sometimes also uses wooden tools, in which case the treatment received is called maderotherapy.

What results can we expect?

The results of the massage-modeling process start to appear after 6-8 sessions where we observe that the persistent fat becomes more malleable and better destroyed in the body. However, its effects may be temporary, and with increased caloric intake and physical inactivity, there may be a new accumulation of fat, especially in the abdominal area, compromising the results. Thus, during the treatment and immediately after it is recommended to combine a balanced diet and regular exercise to sustain the results.


Contraindications to massage modeling include pregnant women and patients with fever, heart problems, osteoporosis, high blood pressure and varicose veins.
